CEDAR CREEK WINERY & SETTLEMENT OPEN HOUSE
3RD Weekend in March

The Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement, invite guests to the Annual Open House, the third weekend in March from 10-5, Saturday and 11-5, Sunday. This indoor event is free and open to the public and features two festive and celebratory days with barrel tasting several of the previous year’s vintages, live music, cooking-with-wine demonstrations/samplings, wine tastings, special events, food samplings, spring showcases and more throughout the Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement.

The Winery, located in a restored 1864 stone woolen mill, offers Open House guests the opportunity to barrel-taste selected Cedar Creek vintages with Winemaker Philippe Coquard at 1:00 & 3:00 as well as sampling Cedar Creek Winery’s many gold award-winning wines, including Pinot Grigio, Cabernet and Waterfall Riesling. Open House guests will sample wines directly from the barrel. Grapevine Pruning demonstrations with Philippe will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Hear the jazz and contemporary sounds of popular singer/musicians from 12:00-4:00 Saturday and Sunday on the Settlement landing. Enjoy delightful Cooking-with-Wine demonstrations and samplings by professional chefs in the wine cellar both Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m., using Cedar Creek Wines.

The 25 retail merchants at the Settlement will host in-store special features, demonstrations and new spring merchandise from the Settlement’s many boutiques and galleries. Specialty food tasting will be ongoing at several shops plus you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of three Settlement restaurants: Anvil Pub & Grille, Cream & Crepe and Tomaso’s.
